Who We Are

BusinessForSaleInBC.ca provides advertising space for business-for-sale listings and is operated by licensed real estate professionals. Some listings are posted by third-party advertisers (“Exclusive”), some are MLS® listings from other brokerages, and some are listings represented by our team.

Not Agency Unless Agreed in Writing

We are not your agent unless you have signed a separate written representation agreement with our brokerage and a licensed Realtor® from our team.

Exclusive Paid Advertisements

Exclusive listings are paid advertisements. The advertiser is responsible for the accuracy of all information. Inquiries submitted on Exclusive ads are forwarded to the advertiser. We may also contact inquirers to offer buyer representation services where permitted by law and where no conflict of interest exists.

Note: Exclusive listings belonging to our team are not necessarily paid advertisements and may be added to our website for exposure. In such cases, the listing will display the appropriate disclosure and clearly state who it is listed by.

Content Responsibility: We are not responsible for the content of third-party Exclusive advertisements.

Our Seller Client Listings

Where we represent the seller, we cannot represent the buyer in the same transaction. Buyers may proceed unrepresented or engage their own Realtor®. For unrepresented buyers, we will provide factual information only and will deliver the required BCFSA disclosures, including the “Disclosure of Representation in Trading Services” and “Disclosure of Risks to Unrepresented Parties.”

MLS® / VOW Listings

MLS® listings displayed on this site are provided by participating REALTOR® members and are deemed reliable but not guaranteed. Unless otherwise stated, we do not represent the seller of MLS® listings and may represent you as a buyer if you choose to work with us.

Fees, Term & Refunds (Exclusive Ads)

Advertising fees are per listing for a fixed term (1, 3, or 6 months). Fees are payable in full before publication and are non-refundable after the listing goes live. Publication timeframe is typically 7 business days after complete submission.

Limitation of Liability

We do not guarantee inquiries, buyer interest, or sale outcomes. Our total liability related to an advertisement is limited to the amount paid for that ad term.
